From the Archives: Morocco 2012

Nose pressed against Easyjet glass, I can remember looking down, wide-eyed, at the endless brown below of arid African landscape. African. It seemed incredible to me that a short flight with a budget airline would bring me to this most exotic of continents. This was the stuff of David Attenborough and Steve McCurry. Yet here I was, well on my way.

In many respects that first, three day trip to Morocco with my good friend Matt was the beginning of what would be a continuing quest - to go somewhere else, to taste more of the exotic as often as possible. To sample cuisines yet untasted. And of course, to document. It stoked a hunger that would not easily be quenched.
