Third Ground Coffee House, Queensland, Australia

Local knowledge is a wonderful gift, especially when travelling. Spending a week off the beaten track in Queensland, Australia, our gracious hosts (more on them in the future) mentioned a coffee shop that was worth a look in a small coastal town called Sarina. Third Ground Coffee House was worth the visit. Run by three young and convivial siblings, they turned out to be passionate not just about coffee and running a business but keen on serving the local community in a broader sense, creating a home away from home (a ‘third ground’) and saw it all as a practical extension of their faith. I’ll not wax lyrical anymore here as this is meant to be a photoblog after all, so for now here’s some pics of a small treasure in the middle of nowhere on the other side of the world…
